Aussie quickie, Brett Lee is said to be contemplating retiring from the five day format of the game to be able to concentrate on only the ODIs and the T20Is. Rahul Dravid scored an unbeaten 177 on the first day of the first Ahmedabad test match against Sri Lanka, as India recovered to post 385/6 by the time the stumps were drawn. MS Dhoni was the other centurion in the innings, as Indians recovered from their abysmal start of 32/4 and got to the realms of safety.

One of England’s best all-rounders of all times and certainly the best at the current moment, Andrew Flintoff, has decided to hang his boots from international test match cricket. However, he has said that he will continue playing in the other formats of the game; the ODIs and the T20Is. He has announced that the last four games in the Ashes will be his final swansong, and that he will play through pain if necessary.
