David Morgan, the president of the ICC has said the concept of day and night test matches would be around the corner, sooner rather later. He said that he would be very surprised and disappointed if something like that did not happen in the next two years.

Harbhajan Singh may say that there shouldn’t be anything drastic done to change the format of the five days cricket matches, but has himself suggested something as radical. In a day and age of reduced spectator-support, and calls to modify the longest format of the game to bring in the spectators, Harbhajan Singh has said that the way forward could be to increase the number of test matches every year!
