Current Australian T20I captain Michael Clarke, has said that he will need to bat like how he used to at the beginning of his international cricket career to be able to get back into his batting form in the T20s. Clarke has also said that he would love to continue as the captain of the Australian side and would not want to give up his place as Australia’s captain in the T20s.
Shane Warne, who captained Rajasthan Royals in the previous seasons of the IPL has said that he would want to make some big changes to the tournament from the next season onwards, which will be aimed at ensuring a level playing field for the new franchises. The teams of Kochi and Pune have been added to the existing list of eight franchises and that has meant that there is a little friction about the number of players the previous franchises can retain from the existing list of players.
Australian cricket team vice-captain, Michael Clarke has returned back to New Zealand to participate in the two-test match series against the home team after breaking up with his two year old fiancé, Lara Bingle. Clarke had earlier gone back home from the middle of the tour of New Zealand.
The Rajasthan Royals have been hit by a huge blow as their premier batsman, Graeme Smith will not play in the rest of the tournament due to a finger injury. Smith was injured in the previous game against the Delhi Daredevils and later it was diagnosed as a double fracture of the middle finger, and he will return back to South Africa.
Rajasthan Royals have got into a deal with three or four other domestic sides around the world to promote the Royals brand. Rajasthan Royals joined hands with the Hampshire side from England, Cape Cobras from South Africa and Trinidad and Tobago from the West Indies to form a Royals brand which will play T20 tournaments around the year.
The winner of the first ever IPL, Rajasthan Royals, has appointed a new CEO, Sean Morris. His role would be to look after the branding of the team outside of India, after it has been found that there is a lot of scope to spread the wings for an IPL franchise outside the shores of the country. Morris comes in with an 18 months of experience of having being the head of the Players Professional Association, and had been a player of Hampshire, having played for four years for the county.
India Not A Long-Term Number One Side: Ian Chappell

According to the former Australian cricket captain, and no commentator Ian Chappell, India does not deserve to be the number one Test team. He also said that the Indian team does not possess the wherewithal to retain its number one position for a long time.
