The Kings XI Punjab team has been hit by another controversy and this time around it has to do with a report carried out by the Times of India that the Indian cricketers and former Punjab captain Yuvraj Singh had decided not to play for the side. Instead, he was to move to Mumbai Indians to play in the third edition of the tournament.

The Feroz Shah Kotla has been banned from hosting any international games for a period of 12 months. However, this does mean that the ground will be able to host its share of four games during the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, where it is scheduled to host four games.
