Eric Simons Appointed Bowling Coach Of Delhi Daredevils

The Delhi Daredevils have appointed a new bowling coach for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League in the form of Eric Simons. Simons was earlier the bowling consultant of the Indian cricket team during the series against South Africa. Simons will replace David Saker, who was earlier the bowing consultant for the Daredevils team, under the coaching of David Shippherd.

Chasing 240 in a series which has already seen a near-chase for a total of 400 plus and a successful one for 301, was never expected to be too difficult, but with the pitch at the Barbati Stadium holding up the way it was, it could have got tricky. As it turned out, India won by seven wickets and with more than seven overs to spare.

Sehwag’s 293 Sets Many Records, But Misses A Big One!

Virender Sehwag almost entered the record books when he fell seven runs short of scoring his third triple century in the history of test match cricket. No player has ever done this so far in test match cricket and Sehwag came within seven runs of doing that before the maestro Muthiah Muralitharan lulled him into playing a shot too early and giving him a return catch!
