Even as Pakistan fumes over the non inclusion of their players, the IPL and the related stakeholders have all come out with rather contradicting statements. This has left those involved even more confused about where the whole thing went sour, and when and by whom was the decision to exclude the players taken.

BCCI To Not Reinstate Services To Rani Trophy…For Now!

The BCCI has said that there was no move to reinstate the Services team back into the Ranji trophy this season. Earlier the apex cricket body in India had banned the Services side because they had failed to turn up at Srinagar for their game against Jammu and Kashmir. Apparently, the side had not turned up for the game because there were rumours that the extreme elements would have disrupted the game in form or the other, which would have been embarrassing for the government.
