Playing at a 20 over exhibition match at Peshawar, Qadir decided to make a mockery of the newly capped teenager. Six balls and 28 runs later it was Qadir who was left licking dust. Qadir’s nightmarish over read 6, 0, 4, 6, 6, 6 whereas the sixteen year old went on to score 53 from just 18 deliveries.
The 2010 edition of the Champions League T20 will see ten teams battle it out for the ultimate glory and will see a new format in which the sides will play. Unlike the previous year, this time around there are ten teams, divided into two groups of five each. The five teams will play four games in a round-robin format and the top two at the end of the tournament will then qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament. The winner of the semi-finals will then feature in the final.
