And once again India lost the series…

South Africa beat India by 80 runs in the fourth one-day international at Port Elizabeth on Wednesday. Gibbs’ unbeaten 93 helps South Africa to defeat India and seal victory in the one-day international series.

Earlier today South Africa won the toss and made 243-8 from their 50 overs. India all out for 163 in 38.1 overs at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth.

Pathan’s tried single-handed but it was not enough for us. As usual Indian batting was totally disappointing and there was not partnership at all.

We are beaten again without a fight. This will generate more fan anger due to lack of fight the team India has shown till today on this tour.

In a related Sourav Ganguly Wednesday stepped down as Bengal’s Ranji Trophy skipper to facilitate his selection to the Indian Test squad for the South Africa series.

Herschelle Gibbs commentary after match:

We’re winning and we’re not playing our best cricket, which is great

Yes sir, our India team sucks.

Final score – Fourth one-day international, Port Elizabeth

=> South Africa 243-8 beat India (163 all out) by 80 runs.
