Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have tested positive for doping and have been sent back to Pakistan.
This may bring bad image of the gentleman’s game.
Now, Pakistan withdraw Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif from the Champions Trophy after the pair test positive for nandrolone.

The tests were carried out by the Pakistan Cricket Board three weeks ago and showed positive results for the performance-enhancing steroid. They have used nandrolone which is an anabolic steroid. It builds muscles and reduces fatigue. So their future is not bright –
Under the ICC anti-doping rules the punishment for a first violation is two years.
